All at Leeds United are saddened to learn about the sudden passing of Steve Mapplebeck.

Steve suddenly passed away at home on the 11th May. He was a genuine, loving man that gave everything to the important things he had his life.

His passion in life were his children, cricket, grandchildren and his beloved club Leeds United, who he has watched for over 30 years. He thought the world of his football club and became a very big part of the LUFC family.

We send our condolences to Steve’s children Vicki, Stuart & Garry. He also he leaves behind his three grandchildren Harry, Caben & Olivia, who he loved dearly.

Steve will be sadly missed by many. Elland Road will never be the same without him.
