‘Rinse and repeat, getting kinda weird’ – These Reds react to future update on player

Liverpool fans have taken to social media to discuss the news that Naby Keita is set for a make-or-break season at the club as he is unlikely to move on this summer.

The midfielder has quality but has not been able to show it anywhere as much as he or we would have liked since he arrived at the club from Red Bull Leipzig.

Indeed, fitness problems has dogged his time on Merseyside and that was again the issue last year as he was limited to just nine starts last season for the club.

James Pearce has revealed, though, that he is not going to be leaving this summer and he now faces a make or break campaign at the club as he looks to prove his fitness.

We cud end up in a similar position this season as last, but with the mid! Our problem isnt that there not good enough, its that they’re the same players always injured

@AnfieldWatch @JamesPearceLFC Break being the important word here, nobody doubts Keitas skill when he's fit, he just isnt fit for a prolonged length of time. Same with Matip, good players but we should be replacing both at this stage.

@AnfieldWatch @JamesPearceLFC Last year we were struggling with defence because we didnt replace Lovren. This year we going to struggle in the mid because of failure to replace Gini it's written in the stars. Cheers, another season where we will be hopelessly fighting for top 4. 😔
