Rigorous preparations for Hoffenheim | OneFootball

Eintracht have a near-full squad to choose from for Wednesday’s double training session as they ramp up their preparations for the home match against Hoffenheim.

Coming into the week on the back of a win – or, as board member for sport Markus Krösche put it after Saturday’s victory at Heidenheim, with a “positive feeling” – has eased the pressure on the Eagles players ahead of Sunday’s meeting with TSG Hoffenheim.

Dino Toppmöller had a near-full squad to choose from for the first of two sessions on Wednesday. Sebastian Rode was absent through injury, while Nacho Ferri and Jean-Mattéo Bahoya trained away from the rest of the team.

Daily sessions until Sunday Preparations for the Matchday 25 clash with direct rivals Hoffenheim are now in full swing. This was reflected in the players’ efforts in Wednesday morning’s session, which ended with a mini-tournament involving three teams. Toppmöller’s side will train every day between Thursday and Sunday, when the Sinsheim outfit visit Deutsche Bank Park at 17:30 CET.
