Arsenal locked horns with Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result away from home in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 14th minute thanks to Gabriel Jesus’ effort. However, Adrien Thomasson equalised for the home team in the 25th minute as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Elye Wahi netted the winning goal for Lens in the 69th minute as Mikel Arteta‘s men crashed to a lackluster 2-1 loss on the road.
