Orsolini said after the match: ‘Tonight there is a lot of pride and emotion. The defeat is less bitter because we are proud to have tried to put one of the strongest teams in Europe to the test. We knew it was a difficult challenge, but we tried and we gave it our all. For us and for Bologna it was a memorable evening. We tried to suffer as little as possible in the initial impact with Anfield and tried to play united and compact. We were a team and even the coach complimented us. It was great for our fans to come to Liverpool in such large numbers. They are our lifeblood.”
