Ricardo Rodriguez, currently available as a free agent, has emerged as a transfer target for Serie A champions Inter, but there are at least three more defenders on the Nerazzurri’s agenda.
Inter have set their sights on Switzerland international Ricardo Rodriguez, who is currently without a club after failing to extend his contract with Torino.
Sky Sport Italia and Il Corriere dello Sport claim that the 31-year-old is one of the defenders monitored by the Nerazzurri, although he’s not the only name on their agenda.
Another free agent, Mario Hermoso, has been linked with a move to San Siro and even if new Inter owners Oaktree would rather sign a younger defender than the Spaniard or Rodriguez, the latter would sign a one-year contract with a reduced salary so he may still suit the Nerazzurri.
As per Corriere dello Sport, Genoa‘s Johan Vásquez and Salernitana‘s Lorenzo Pirola are two more options for the defending Serie A champions who, in any case, are not willing to discuss a permanent transfer but would only consider loan deals with an option to buy.
