Following a 0-0 draw with Juárez, Chivas manager Ricardo Cadena took the time to discuss the squad’s latest attacking struggles.

And it appears the club is set for additional reinforcements up top following a season-ending injury to José Juan Macías.

“We had good moments in the game, generating clear chances to score is always on our minds,” he said.

“The thing with José Juan Macías affects us, but we must adapt and look for solutions for the attack.

“There aren’t many strikers on the market, this situation is reflected in the selection, I’m sure the board will find a good option…

“We are looking for partnerships and variants in all positions, we are aware that it is necessary to be able to win.

“Today the priority is to bring a player in attack.”

During their clash with Juarez, Chivas had 14 shots across 90 minutes with five on target.
