With manager Víctor Manuel Vucetich out of the Chivas duel against Pumas due to a positive coronavirus test, assistant manager Ricardo Cadena took charge for the penultimate match of the Liga MX season.

“It was a game that Vucetich was designed that way, with prominence, speed, and quick developments to be able to generate the situations that we saw on the field today.

“We knew that we would face a team that would put a lot of pressure on us, so we had to be dynamic, purposeful, and intense, but we were unable to take advantage of all the opportunities that we generated.”

Chivas, who are guaranteed to feature in the first round of the Liguilla, will face Rayados on Saturday night, who are looking to potentially clinch a first-round bye themselves.
