Oumar Diouf signed a two-year contract with RFC Liège this Sunday, August 3, 2025, with an option for an additional year. Arriving from Cyprus, the young Senegalese forward committed to the Challenger Pro League side after a successful trial period.

Trained at the Foot Darou Salam Academy in Senegal, Oumar Diouf played in Turkey with Çaykur Rizespor during the 2023-2024 season before joining Gençlik Gücü in the Cypriot KTFF Süper Lig. Tested by RFC Liège during the summer preparation, he made a strong impression by netting five goals, including one against RAEC Mons, which accelerated the completion of his transfer.

The 22-year-old was on the radar of several Belgian clubs, notably Patro Eisden, Francs Borains and Sint-Truiden, but RFC Liège managed to seal the deal. The Liège-based club, gearing up for their Challenger Pro League campaign, is counting on Diouf's pace, clinical finishing, and physical presence in the opposition box.

"Oumar is a quick striker, effective in the box and clinical in front of goal. He also stands out for his positive aggression in duels and his ability to win back possession. He convinced us during his trial these past weeks. We are convinced he still has plenty of room to grow," said RFC Liège head coach Gaëtan Englebert.
