Inter Milan defender Tomas Palacios will decide whether to join Monza on loan by tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Monza are pushing to sign Inter defender Palacios on loan.

The Brianzoli are desperate to reinforce their squad before the end of the January transfer window. They are aiming to get themselves out of a dire situation at the bottom of the Serie A table.

The Gazzetta confirm that there are two main targets for Monza at this stage. Both would come from teams in neighbouring Milan.

Monza want to sign Tomas Palacios from Inter, and Luka Jovic from AC Milan.

Inter Defender Tomas Palacios To Make Monza Decision Tomorrow

The Gazzetta report that Inter and Monza have already agreed a deal for Palacios.

The Nerazzurri are ready to send the 22-year-old out on loan. This would be a dry loan with no purchase option.

Inter are keen to give Palacios the opportunity for more playing time.

Palacios pulled out of yesterday’s training session. It seemed very clear that the reason for this is that he is considering his future for the rest of the season.

The Argentine has yet to give the decisive green light to join Monza.

And in the meantime, Bayer Leverkusen have also reportedly emerged as candidates to sign Palacios.

However, the Gazzetta report, the wait for an answer won’t be long. Therefore, they report that Palacios will make his decision on whether to accept a loan move to Monza by tomorrow.
