Revealed – Timeline For Inter Milan FIFA Club World Cup & Preseason Training Camp

Inter Milan will embark for the US for the FIFA Club World Cup on June 11th.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the squad will reconvene on the 9th, whilst their first match is against Monterrey early the morning of the 18th.

Inter Milan have just ended their season in virtually the worst way imaginable. They lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, by a humiliating 5-0 scoreline.

However, the Nerazzurri will have to quickly get ready for their next commitment.

Inter play in the Champions League final this summer. They are one of two clubs from Serie A in the expanded format of the tournament along with Juventus.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter’s squad will reconvene on June 9th, next Monday.

The players will have the international break to attend to for the next week. But then it is straight back to training for the Nerazzurri.

A couple days later, on Wednesday the 11th, the Inter squad will travel to the US.

There, the Nerazzurri players will settle into their training camp.

Inter’s first match in the tournament will come against Mexican side Monterrey. That will be on June 17th in local time, but early the morning of the 18th in Central European Time.

Meanwhile, Inter will base their decision on when to start their preseason training camp on how far they go at the Club World Cup.

Naturally, the players will need a break after that tournament. Therefore, the preseason training camp will begin a few weeks after the Club World Cup ends.

The final of the tournament will be on July 13th.
