France Under-21 international striker Ange-Yoan Bonny will wear the number 14 on his shirt at Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri officially announced the Frecnhman’s choice of shirt number in an Instagram post.

Striker Ange-Yoan Bonny joined Inter Milan this summer. The Frenchman arrived on a five-year deal from Parma.

Bonny had been a Parma player for four years, having signed for the Emilian club in 2021.

And last season was Bonny’s first in Serie A. He made the step up well, helping Parma to remain in the top flight.

Therefore, Bonny caught Inter’s eye. And the fact that Cristian Chivu took over as Inter coach following his successful stint in charge of Parma certainly didn’t hurt Bonny as a target for the Nerazzurri.

Naturally, Ange-Yoan Bonny has not arrived to become a regular first-choice starter at Inter.

Rather, the 21-year-old will be an understudy to more experienced strikers such as Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

That starting pair wear shirt numbers ten and nine respectively.

And now, Ange-Yoan Bonny has chosen a shirt number of his own. Starting next season, he will wear the shirt number 14.
