Inter Milan will drop the curtain on a near-flawless league-phase campaign with a must-win Champions League clash against Monaco.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will be out to get all three points and lock down a top-four finish.
Despite talks Simone Inzaghi could ‘play on the result,’ Inter will only seek another victory to close the league phase on a high.
The defending Serie A champions eked out a 1-0 win at Sparta Prague in the penultimate route.
Indeed, Lautaro Martinez scored a decisive first-half goal to put Inter in pole position to secure a top-four finish.
Liverpool and Barcelona are the only teams to secure automatic Round-of-16 qualification with a game to spare.
However, Inter could join them in the favorable part of the knockout draw with a home win against Monaco.

Therefore, there’s no reason for the Nerazzurri to take their feet off the gas.
Inzaghi’s charges head into proceedings in high spirits after winning four of their last five matches in all competitions.
Furthermore, they can extend their imperious home form in the Champions League tonight.
Indeed, the Italian giants haven’t lost any of their last 12 outings at Giuseppe Meazza in this competition.
