On Monday, information from Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth surfaced regarding Manchester United and PSG having reached an agreement in principle on Ugarte’s transfer, with the deal estimated at around £50 million.

Furthermore, on Tuesday, more information surfaced regarding the amount the Premier League side are shelling out for a transfer fee.

According to multiple reports, PSG will receive a fixed fee of €50 million plus €10 million in add-ons and a 10 percent sell-on clause as part of Ugarte’s transfer to Manchester United.

Ugarte made 37 appearances across all competitions for the reigning Ligue 1 champions last season, recording three assists.

The PSG midfielder began the first half of the campaign playing well, but his minutes fell off in the second half as he was used more as a rotational player rather than a starter.

The move to Old Trafford will allow the former Sporting Lisbon standout to get his career back on track following a rollercoaster one season with the French giants last campaign.
