Inter Milan would demand a fee of at least €3 million from Sevilla for Marko Arnautovic in January.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that that’s the amount the Nerazzurri would need to avoid a capital loss on the Austrian.
Recent reports have linked Arnautovic with La Liga club Sevilla.
According to Tuttosport, Inter are hardly going to push the 35-year-old out in the January month.
The Nerazzurri are aiming to keep Arnautovic on until the end of the season. They continue to see him as important attacking depth.
And Tuttosport confirm that, as of yet, there are no negotiations on Inter’s end to sell Arnautovic.
However, Sevilla’s interest could always turn the head of the player himself. Particularly if the Andalusians could offer more playing time.
Tuttosport suggest that there could be contacts with Arnautovic’s representatives rather than with Inter.
And If Sevilla were to tempt Arnautovic away, then they would need to begin talks with Inter.
According to Tuttosport, there is a specific figure in mind that Inter would have.
If the Nerazzurri are to sell Arnautovic next month, then they certainly won’t want to take a capital loss.
And Arnautovic is still on Inter’s books for around €3 million out of the fee they paid Bologna in 2023.
Therefore, that is the minimum amount Inter would expect from Sevilla.
