Respected football stats and data site transfermarkt has today claimed Morocco’s Hamza Igamane is a Rangers player, having alleged that he has confirmed his move to Govan for a fee of €3M (£2.5M).
The 21-year-old striker, seemingly switching from Moroccan side AS FAR Rabat, has been a long transfer tale so far, with a supposed last week announcement of his official joining failing completely to materialise.
The claim is that his contract is 5 years, till 2029, and despite the site itself claiming a €1M market value, it is also attributing that £2.5M fee for the striker.
So is an announcement imminent?
AS themselves claimed the boy has joined Rangers, transfermarkt says he has, and all the ITKs having been falling all over themselves to be first with the ‘he’ll be unveiled under xxx’ date.
But the reality is nothing has been confirmed yet by Rangers themselves, and we couldn’t even guess when it will.
This story seems to be on, off, on again, off again… we won’t insult your intelligence by making a prediction.
All we know now is transfermarkt reckon he’s joined Rangers on a five-year deal….
