The 18-year-old spent the latter stages of her youth with SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division club Shelbourne. She made her senior debut for Shels in 2021. A brief spell with Shamrock Rovers followed before Larkin joined Glasgow City in the summer 2023 transfer window. Larkin has gained plenty of domestic football experience in the last couple of years while she has also made a small number of appearances in the UEFA Women’s Champions League both for Shelbourne and Glasgow City.

On the international stage, Larkin has 16 senior caps for the Republic of Ireland and she has scored one goal. She represented her country at the FIFA Women’s World Cup last summer.

After joining Crystal Palace, Larkin said “I’m absolutely buzzing and I can’t wait to get started with the girls.

“The facilities are unbelievable and it’s my dream to play in English football. I’m looking forward to settling into the club and getting closer to the girls, focusing on my football, enjoying it and hopefully developing more as a player.”

Larkin becomes Crystal Palace head coach Laura Kaminski’s third signing of the January transfer window.
