🚨 Republic of Ireland announce squad for international fixtures

Martin O’Neill has selected a provisional Republic of Ireland squad for the UEFA Nations League opener against Wales and the international friendly with Poland.
The squad will report to camp on September 2 before travelling to Cardiff on September 4 for the game against Wales. The squad will then travel on to Poland ahead of the game on September 11.
Goalkeepers: Colin Doyle, Sean McDermott, Kieran O’Hara, Darren Randolph.
Defenders: Seamus Coleman, Cyrus Christie, Matt Doherty, Shane Duffy, Richard Keogh, Ciaran Clark, Kevin Long, Stephen Ward, John Egan, Enda Stevens, Darragh Lenihan, Greg Cunningham.
Midfielders: Alan Judge, Jeff Hendrick, Conor Hourihane, Alan Browne, Shaun Williams, David Meyler, Harry Arter, Daryl Horgan, Callum O’Dowda, James McClean.
Forwards: Jonathan Walters, Shane Long, Graham Burke, Callum Robinson, Aiden O’Brien.
James McCarthy (leg), Robbie Brady, (ankle) Scott Hogan (groin), and Preston North End forward Sean Maguire (hamstring) have been ruled out through injury, while goalkeeper Sean McDermott receives his first senior call-up after representing Ireland at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level.
Preston North End forward Callum Robinson has received international clearance after obtaining an Irish passport through his Monaghan-born grandmother.
