Paulo Fonseca made some bold starting eleven choices for AC Milan’s game against Udinese and as highlighted by a newspaper, he proved to be right. The Rossoneri’s heart is beating strongly even in adversity, which isn’t a given.

Despite playing with ten men from the 29th minute, when Tijjani Reijnders was sent off, Milan deserved to come away with all three points against Udinese. They played like a team, more so than the away side, and even could have scored another goal.

As highlighted by today’s edition of La Repubblica (via MilanNews) states that Milan’s heart beats strongly, even in the face of adversity. It was a crucial win given the ‘tour de force’ that November brings, between Serie A and Champions League commitments.

The ability to perform in difficulty is by no means a given, as we have seen before this season, but perhaps the game against Udinese can be a turning point. Paulo Fonseca stood by his pre-match words and made some bold decisions, benching Rafael Leao, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori.

It was indeed a strong signal, confirming the fact that Milan comes before everything and everyone. No one is untouchable, and just like the derby, Fonseca was proved right in the end and the hope is that the first win can be clinched in the Champions League on Tuesday as well.
