A number of worrying stories continue to emerge after AC Milan’s shock Champions League exit at the hands of Feyenoord on Tuesday night.
Today’s edition of La Repubblica (via MilanPress) speaks of ‘extreme tension’ at Milan and a climate inside the Milan dressing room that is far from positive at the moment, especially after the recent result against Feyenoord.
According to what the paper states, not all players appreciate Conceicao’s harsh ways and relations with some members of the squad are said to be at an all-time low despite the fact that he has been here less than two months.
Among them, Christian Pulisic stands out and there is a rather interesting back story. During the half-time break in the 2-1 loss to Dinamo Zagreb, the American winger had a heated face-to-face discussion with the coach.
He even made it clear that he wishes to be sold by Milan in the summer in the event that they persist with Conceicao as the manager, which is a rather damning ultimatum for arguably the best player in the squad to put forward.
Youssouf Fofana has also not bonded with the coach who, according to the paper, does not particularly rate him and for this reason he put him the bench on Tuesday, which was a rather surprising move.
