AC Milan already have their first bit of transfer business in mind if they mathematically secure qualification for the Champions League, a report claims.

Tomori scored the third goal during last night’s 3-0 rout of Juventus, a goal which ensures 6 points in the last 3 rounds of action will be enough – provided that Pirlo’s team do not drop more points – to secure qualification for the next Champions League and be able to plan a more ambitious summer market.

According to Calciomercato.com, the first operation planned by Milan is the permanent signing of Tomori for €28m from Chelsea. Eventual qualification for the next Champions League would make automatic what is currently a clear intention from the management.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Tomori – who last night scored his first Serie A goal after a fantastic match neutralising Cristiano Ronaldo – is a player that Milan intend to buy on a permanent deal for €28.5m, but the final decision will be made at the end of the season.
