Reporter delivers fresh update as Liverpool underline midfielder interest | OneFootball

German football reporter Florian Plettenberg has offered a fresh update on Liverpool’s chase of Florian Neuhaus of Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Reds have been linked with a number of midfielders this summer with the exit of Gini Wijnaldum in mind but, as yet, no new faces have come in.

That in mind, speculation is proving rife at the moment around the club and whether they will sign a new midfielder, with the Reds apparently recently reaffirming their interest in Neuhaus, though that is about as far as things are going right now.

There’s still a feeling that the Reds are playing smoke and mirrors this summer over signing new players but, at the same time, this real lack of activity in the market is generating a lot of negative feeling among supporters.

Hopefully the squad can be bolstered ahead of next season as we look to challenge for silverware.
