According to Sky Sport Italia, Nicolò Zaniolo has chosen Atalanta rather than Fiorentina, so the club is working to agree terms with Galatasaray.
The Italy international spent the season on loan with Aston Villa, but the Premier League side did not take up their option to buy.
He was also forced to miss EURO 2024 due to a fractured metatarsal in his foot, but will be fit to start the new campaign.
Zaniolo is determined to come back to Serie A and it has so far been a race between Atalanta and Fiorentina, with both sides courting him via his entourage.
Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the player, who turns 25 today, has now made his decision and wants to move to Bergamo.
It is likely to be a paid loan with option to buy that becomes an obligation if certain conditions are met for a total of circa €19m.
Choosing La Dea will also enable Zaniolo to play in the Champions League.
