A deal for Chelsea to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig is finally now very close to completion.

Sources have told Si & Dan Talk Chelsea this week that it is just the final signing off that we are waiting for to make the deal official.

So, when will it be made official?

Well, as per the same report, one source had already previously stated that Chelsea wanted to announce Nkunku as a new player during or right after the World Cup. And now, another source has reiterated again this week that ‘Nkunku could be announced as soon as next month.’

Chelsea will pay just north of Nkunku’s release clause, and he will arrive at the club in the summer.

Chelsea will be signing a hugely exciting attacking talent who will make a big difference to the team next season. Now they need to address the midfield so they can make full use of him!
