Tottenham Hotspur might relax the asking price for Harry Kane

According to Manchester Evening News (h/t Express), Tottenham are open to selling Harry Kane. The report goes on to claim that the club might let Kane go for less than £150million, adding that Manchester City could make another offer for the England striker.

The 28-year-old has not been shy of revealing his desire for a potential move. Kane has not won a major trophy so far in his career.

In an interview with Gary Neville, the forward revealed that he is not desperate for trophies. However, he did say he did not want to end his career and have any regrets. He was quick to hint about a potential move to Manchester City.

Kane was asked about the dream player he would like to play with and he did not hesitate to say Kevin de Bruyne, thus adding fuel to the fire.

The Harry Kane Saga

Last month, The Guardian reported that City’s bid worth £100m was rejected by Tottenham. A month later, a report from The Sun claimed that a £160m for Harry Kane from Manchester City has been accepted by Spurs, claiming that chairman Daniel Levy admitted that the player’s value has never been higher.

However, journalist Fabrizio Romano said that Tottenham have denied accepting any bid for Kane, adding that Daniel Levy still wants to keep Kane despite Manchester City still being interested.
