During his first season in charge of the FC Barcelona team, Hansi Flick has clearly shown that he is not averse to the idea of playing very young players whose talents and performances vouch for their presence on the pitch.
This is clear from the way he has made the likes of Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi, Alejandro Balde, Marc Casado, etc., important parts of his first team.
However, there are some other players who have not been able to get a lot of minutes under him, and one such player has been Pablo Torre, who ranked 22nd on the team in terms of the number of minutes played on the pitch last season. As a result, his future at the Catalan club is highly uncertain.
In such a context, Mundo Deportivo has published a report that explains his situation at Barcelona and the plans that the Blaugrana club have for him for this summer.

However, the club has little hope of him making himself an important part of the German manager’s plans, particularly because of the great competition in his position of attacking midfield, where Dani Olmo, Gavi, and Fermin Lopez are all ahead of him in the pecking order.
Still, Barcelona value his professionalism and his good conduct in the dressing room, and also have confidence in his further growth in the coming years. Thus, they want to remain in control of his future even if he is to depart this summer, and a loan or a move with a buyback clause cannot be ruled out for him.
If he leaves on loan, the Catalans will extend his contract, which is going to end next year. Meanwhile, if he is to be permanently transferred, a buyback clause will be kept on him.
Several teams have shown an interest in Pablo Torre in recent months. He was being monitored by Porto at the end of January. Similarly, Mallorca have also been interested in him, while Racing Club will also consider a move for him if they are promoted to the first division.
