It is currently not known whether PSG club officials are looking to find a suitor for him in next year’s winter transfer window or possibly later in the summer window.

PSG signed Pereira last year from Portuguese powerhouse FC Porto on a one-year loan deal coupled with an obligation to buy. He featured in 45 matches in all competitions last season, which included scoring two goals in Ligue 1 play.

Pereira has remained as a rotational midfielder for PSG under manager Mauricio Pochettino. He currently sits at 11 appearances in all competitions in the season, which include playing time minutes in all three of the team’s UEFA Champions League group stage fixtures so far in the campaign.

Pereira currently has three more seasons remaining on his current contract deal with the French powerhouse.
