Inter Milan have gotten positive news regarding the fitness of Hakan Calhanoglu, Piotr Zielinski, Benjamin Pavard, and Yann Bisseck.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908. They report all four look to have recovered from injuries upon their return to training.
Inter Milan’s entire squad will not return to training for a few players.
The club has granted most of their players extended holidays after the Club World Cup.
However, a few players have already filtered into the team’s preaseason training camp. Namely, those who were absent from the Club World Cup due to injuries.

Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu was notably out for the Club World Cup. This was due to a hamstring strain, and a subsequent calf problem.
In the meantime, the Turk was also subject to a lot of transfer rumours.
But Calhanoglu has made his return to training. And aside from smoothing things over as far as the transfer rumours with an interview, the 31-year-old’s fitness also looks to be good.
Meanwhile, the same is true of midfielder Piotr Zielinski. The Polish international missed the Club World Cup due to a calf strain.
Defender Benjamin Pavard started one match for Inter at the Club World Cup – but missed the remainder of the tournament due to a flare-up of an ankle sprain.
And then, Pavard’s fellow right-sided defender Yann Bisseck was also absent. The German was recovering from a hamstring problem he sustained during the Champions League final.
According to the Gazzetta, though, both defenders have recovered well.
Therefore, all four of Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Pavard, and Bisseck are working on personalized work to get up to speed in anticipation of their teammates returning to training.
