That has been one of the big questions in the build-up to the match, with Stuttgart's Alexander Nübel, on loan from Bayern Munich, and Hoffenheim's Oliver Baumann in contention for the starting berth.

According to Sky Germany, a decision has now been made: Alexander Nübel will start the game and make his Germany debut.

Baumann could get his chance against the Netherlands on Monday. Like Nübel, he has yet to make his first appearance for the national team.
