Report: Nkunku transfer to Bayern likely off! | OneFootball

Bayern Munich’s hopes of landing Christopher Nkunku have suffered a major blow after negotiations with Chelsea collapsed, according to reports from “BILD” in Germany.

The Bavarian giants had been in talks over a possible deal for the French forward in the attempt to reinforce their attack. Bayern had pushed for a loan move with an option to buy - Chelsea, however, stood firm in demanding a permanent transfer, creating an impasse that has left the deal on the brink of collapse.

In addition to that first roadblock, Nkunku's agent Pini Zahavi has met with the Chelsea bosses - and told Bayern today, that his client is likely to stay at Chelsea for at least another year!

For Bayern, the failed pursuit is another setback in their transfer strategy, after receiving a clear rejection from Stuttgart for the Woltemade transfer. Unless there is a late turnaround in talks, Christopher Nkunku looks set to remain at Stamford Bridge when the transfer window closes.
