Juventus are seriously considering a managerial change, with Roberto Mancini emerging as a leading candidate to replace Thiago Motta.
The former Italy boss is reportedly open to a short-term, four-month contract, with an automatic extension should he secure Champions League qualification—an attractive prospect for the Bianconeri as they weigh their options.

Despite public backing from football director Cristiano Giuntoli, who has stressed unity and resilience during this turbulent period, Motta’s position remains precarious. Recent underwhelming performances have heightened internal concerns, pushing the club to explore alternatives regardless of the public show of support.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are likely to part ways with Motta after the first game following the international break against Genoa, allowing him one final chance to turn things around while the club finalises its succession plan.
Mancini’s availability has strengthened his case, with Juventus reportedly intrigued by the idea of him taking charge until the end of the Club World Cup under terms that would only extend his contract if he secures a top-four finish.

However, the club is also keeping Igor Tudor in consideration as an interim alternative should a change be needed sooner.
Looking ahead to the summer, Juventus are keen to maintain flexibility, potentially targeting high-profile names such as Antonio Conte, Gian Piero Gasperini, or Stefano Pioli.
To safeguard their long-term vision, the club will only commit to a new manager with the assurance of Champions League qualification.
