Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in negotiating a potential €40million transfer move for Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.
The Slovakia international has shone during his time in Serie A, having previously also impressed at former club Celta Vigo in La Liga.
Could we now see Lobotka trying his luck in the Premier League? It seems Man Utd have the 30-year-old on their radar ahead of the summer.
That’s according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, who also suggest that Paris Saint-Germain are keen on Lobotka after his impressive performances.
Although Lobotka has been a key player for Napoli, he’s not getting any younger and it seems the club are open to making a change in that area of the pitch.
This could be Napoli’s last chance to get any significant money for Lobotka, and it seems this has put Man Utd and PSG on alert, according to TMW’s report.

Lobotka is undoubtedly a fine player, but MUFC surely need to be aiming for someone a bit younger if they are to successfully rebuild this struggling side.
Ruben Amorim’s demanding style of play will surely require high levels of fitness, and that could mean a different kind of profile from Lobotka.
At the same time, however, United need to be open to a variety of possibilities due to their poor performances this season, which could limit what they can do in the transfer market.
If Lobotka is indeed available for a reasonable price of around €40m, then United might find he could do a job for them for a year or two.
The Red Devils will be keen to build for the long term, but there can be exceptions to that rule, as they also won’t want a squad that’s too youthful and inexperienced, which they can surely see has been a bit of an issue for Chelsea in recent times.
