Paris Saint-Germain prospect Arnaud Kalimuendo capped off the team’s preseason schedule with promising performances. Overall, Kalimuendo finished with one assist over four preseason games played.

The French forward did not come away with a goal scored in any of PSG’s preseason matches, but he did do enough to impress the team’s coaching staff.

As noted by L’Equipe (via Le10Sport), Kalimuendo is expected to feature in PSG’s attacking rotations for the upcoming season.

Thus, Kalimuendo is not slated to leave the team over the ongoing summer transfer window, whether on a permanent transfer deal or a one-season loan agreement.

Kalimuendo has already had the backing of PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino, as one recent report noted that the Argentine much prefers the forward stay with the team for the upcoming new season.

The French prospect should be tabbed to backup Mauro Icardi this season, although he does have the potential to also feature for the team as a winger.
