One of the reinforcements of the Ricardo Peláez era who performed the least in a Chivas first-team jersey is, without a doubt, José Madueña.
The experienced right-back signed for Chivas for the 2020 Clausura tournament and arrived to fight for a position with Jesús Sánchez but the reality is that he never lived up to expectations.
Now, according to TUDN journalist Erick López, the 31-year-old footballer will leave Chivas in the next 24 hours to become a reinforcement of FC Juárez.
Madueña has only featured seven times in the last 18 months and did not even make the bench after last season’s opening match, in which he did not participate.
As he’s under contract until December 2022, it is in everyone’s best interest to get a deal done as quickly as possible.
