Inter Milan flop Kristjan Asllani is reportedly close to joining Coppa Italia winners Bologna on a permanent basis.

According to Calcio e Finanza via FCInterNews, the Albanian midfielder’s exit will bolster Inter’s coffers.

Kristjan Asllani signed for Inter in 2022 on loan from Empoli before signing a permanent contract in 2023.

However, he has never established himself as a permanent first-team fixture at San Siro.

Instead, the 23-year-old has spent most of his career with the Nerazzurri as a substitute.

Asllani’s stock has gradually dropped due to his restricted playing time.

Indeed, his price tag last summer was approximately €15.7 million, only to slump to €7.2 million this year.

However, with Bologna agreeing to pay Inter around €10 million for his services, the Nerazzurri will record a capital gain.

It’s not much, though, considering it’s only €2.8 million.

It’s not bad either, considering Inter will be able to get his €2.4 million gross salary off the books.
