Inter Milan are reportedly not giving up in their efforts to sign Parma defender Giovanni Leoni this summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of the Gazzetta di Parma, via FCInterNews. They report that Parma will stick to their valuation of €40 million for the 19-year-old.
It is no secret that Inter Milan are keen to sign Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.
The Nerazzurri had already been trying to sign the young defender from Sampdoria last summer. However, Parma beat them to the punch.
The Emilian club paid a fee of around €7 million to sign Leoni.
And that already looks to be a fantastic piece of business. If Parma were to sell Leoni this summer, it would be for several times what they paid for him just twelve months ago.

Parma value Giovanni Leoni at no less than €40 million.
The Emilian club have set the price tag high, partly because they have no intention of selling Leoni this summer.
However, reports the Gazzetta di Parma, that is not necessarily putting Inter Milan offer.
The newspaper anticipate the Nerazzurri are ready to keep pushing to sign Leoni this summer.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta di Parma predict, Inter could offload Francesco Acerbi this summer to clear the way for Leoni’s signing.
