Report – Inter Milan Make Teenage Parma Defender Top Target For The Rest Of The Summer

Inter Milan have made Parma defender Giovanni Leoni their top target for the rest of the summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have already made a total of three signings this summer. They’ve brought in Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, and Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The Nerazzurri have spent a total of around €70 million on these three young acquisitions.
The Corriere dello Sport report that Inter are ready to invest around €30 million more in the market, excluding what they bring in from sales.

And according to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter have one target in mind in particular.
The Nerazzurri are aiming to bring in GIovanni Leoni from Parma.
The defense is the one major area of the pitch where Inter have yet to intervene in the transfer market this summer.
And it has long been clear that revitalizing at the back is a priority for Inter. Particularly with the likes of Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi now well into their thirties.
Giovanni Leoni is the player who Inter back as being capable of becoming the future of their defense. And he is only nineteen years of age.
Meanwhile, Inter coach Cristian Chivu worked very successfully with Leoni at Parma.
Therefore, reports the Corriere, Inter have made signing Leoni their main goal for the rest of the summer.
