Inter Milan are looking to make a major attacking signing this summer.

The Nerazzurri want to sign a winger or attacking midfielder who can provide different qualities than any of the strikers currently in their squad.

By all accounts, Inter’s top target for this is Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

However, there is no guarantee that the Nerazzurri will be able to pull off a deal for Lookman. Therefore, they are also thinking about alternative targets.

One such backup target looks to be Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

The English international spent last season on loan with Chelsea. However, the Blues declined to sign him on a permanent basis.

Therefore, United are looking to offload Sancho this summer. There is little chance that the 25-year-old will stay at Old Trafford, having underwhelmed since his 2021 move from Borussia Dortmund.

Juventus have reportedly been eyeing up a deal for Sancho. But it’s not just the Bianconeri.

Inter could also look to bring in the Englishman.

And according to Graeme Bailey, Nerazzurri President Beppe Marotta has already contacted both United, and Sancho’s representatives to signal the club’s interest.
