Report – Inter Milan Inching Closer To Finding Agreement With Atalanta For Nigeria Star | OneFootball

Talks between Atalanta and Inter Milan over Ademola Lookman are ongoing, with the clubs inching closer to finding an agreement.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have narrowed the gap with their second offer.

Unfazed by Atalanta’s instant rejection earlier in July, Inter submitted an improved second bid for Lookman yesterday.

Indeed, the Serie A runners-up lodged a written proposal worth €45 million.

Though it’s still €5 million short of Atalanta’s valuation, negotiations are heading in the right direction.

Even though Ivan Juric’s men continue to insist on their €50 million asking price, Ademola Lookman is close to joining Inter.

Indeed, the 27-year-old has already told Atalanta that he wants to ply his trade at San Siro, putting pressure on the club.

And with the distance at a bare minimum, the official confirmation could arrive soon.

Furthermore, Inter will sign Lookman outright now that the loan deal is no longer on the table.
