Inter Milan could reportedly make a late push to sign Lazio midfielder Nicolo Rovella toward the end of the transfer window.

According to Il Messaggero via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri would only do this on one condition.

Inter’s focus remains firmly on wantaway Atalanta star Ademola Lookman.

Indeed, they’re keen to complete the Nigerian forward’s arrival after vying for his signature the entire summer.

However, there could be further squad additions down the final stretch of the transfer window.

Despite fending off Fenerbahce’s interest earlier in the summer, Inter could still lose Hakan Calhanoglu.

Indeed, the Turkish midfielder appears unsettled, having neither confirmed nor denied the swirling rumors about his future.

Furthermore, his future at San Siro is still under review.

There’s a chance he could leave Serie A late in the summer, which would force the club’s hand.

Calhanoglu’s departure would see Inter revisit their interest in Nicolo Rovella.
