The pressure is mounting on Milan coach Sergio Conceiçao as the club may reportedly decide to part ways with him immediately if his side doesn’t get a win at Lecce on Saturday.
The Portuguese boss has been under fire in recent days, as he was forced to deny his former spokesman’s claims suggesting he was deeply unsatisfied with the team and the club’s management.

It had already emerged that the Rossoneri would only confirm Conceição as head coach if he managed to secure Champions League qualification for next season—a prospect that looks increasingly unlikely, given the 11-point gap currently separating them from fourth-placed Juventus.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport explains that with the management deeply concerned about the team’s poor form, a drastic scenario could unfold if Milan fail to bounce back by beating Lecce after three consecutive Serie A defeats.
While club directors remain adamant about avoiding another coaching change—at least until the end of the season—they would be prepared to make decisive moves if the Rossoneri suffer another setback, which could also jeopardise their qualification for the Europa League.

The newspaper suggests that, in the worst-case scenario, the club could appoint current Milan Futuro coach Mauro Tassotti as a caretaker manager until the end of the season.
