With the imminent departure of J.J. Macías, Chivas are looking to bring in another striker to fill the soon-to-be empty spot.
According to a report from Récord, the club won’t be turning the market this summer but instead, will look within their youth system.
Manager Víctor Manuel Vucetich has particularly eyed César Huerta as the player to fill the hole left by Macías.
The 20-year-old centre-forward made eight appearances during the Liga MX Clausura encompassing 173 minutes.
If Huerta can find his scoring touch as he did during Liga MX Apertura with Mazatlán FC, he’ll be a promising talent to boost Chivas.
