Reports in France this evening claim that Napoli are close to agreeing a six-month loan deal with Liverpool for Italy international Federico Chiesa.
Footmercato maintain the two clubs are discussing the situation with Chiesa’s agent Fali Ramadani and the powering factor behind it all is the presence of coach Antonio Conte.
The former Italy boss is confident that he can get the best out of Chiesa and revitalise his career for the Azzurri too.

The winger made the transfer to Anfield Road from Juventus in August for €12m plus another €3m in performance-related bonuses.
However, the fitness problems that plagued his career at Juve have continued in the Premier League, seeing him make only four appearances for the Reds in all competition for a total 123 minutes of football.
With a salary worth €7.5m per season net, Napoli will likely need some support from Liverpool to cover even half those wages during the loan spell.
Footmercato report that Liverpool could also be open to allowing an option to make the move permanent for more than €13m.
