According to a report this week, Chelsea have already made an offer to sign one player who used to be at Arsenal for the summer window.

The Blues will surely look to be busy in the summer window, especially with their poor form since Christmas time. They will be hoping that form now improves though after beating Southampton in their last game.

The Blues won the game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.

The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.

One problem area is the goalkeeper position, and despite the club briefing they are content with what they have, new goalkeepers continue to be linked.

Chelsea make Ramsdale offer

Speaking on KS1 TV, Steve Kay has been discussing Chelsea’s goalkeeping sitiation, and according to the journalist, the Blues are ready to make a move for Aaron Ramsdale.

Kay shared what he knows about Ramsdale and Chelsea’s interest.

According to the journalist, Ramsdale wasn’t keen on a move to Chelsea last summer, but he says that there is now another offer on the table from the west London outfit.

“Before he signed for Southampton, at the time, there were so many goalkeepers at Chelsea, and Ramsdale didn’t want that situation, he had that at Arsenal,” Kay said.

“Since then, there’s an offer on the table for Ramsdale to possibly go to Chelsea. Yeah, my indication is that the goalkeepers there, Sanchez and Jorgensen just aren’t up to standard, and it makes a lot of sense.”
