Chelsea are one of four Premier League clubs monitoring Fiorentina striker Moise Kean ahead of the summer window according to reports.

The Blues are set for a busy window and will look to fund any moves in the market by selling as many as seven or eight players.

Chelsea face a critical window with a number of positions that need filling and it’s believed they are looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker.

Chelsea monitoring Kean

The Blues are in desperate need for an alternative to Nicolas Jackson and paid the ultimate price for not addressing the situation in January.

Both Jackson and Marc Guiu got injured against West Ham on deadline day and the Blues have used Pedro Neto as a makeshift striker in recent weeks.

Chelsea have been strongly linked with Liam Delap, whilst Victor Osimhen is still said to be on their shortlist after spending most of last summer in negotiations with the 26-year-old.

However, it appears a new name could be in the mix and Viola News have reported Chelsea are one of the clubs monitoring Kean.

The report adds the Blues are one of four Premier League clubs along with Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa who are monitoring the striker.

Viola News state that Kean has a release clause in his contract worth €52m, and given his current form that could be a bargain for a number of teams in the summer.

The 25-year-old has scored 15 goals in 26 Serie A appearances and the Blues could come up against him in the Conference League final if both teams progress.

Kean has certainly improved as a player since a failed spell in the Premier League with Everton where he scored four goals in 39 appearances.

If he continues his good form Kean could prove to be a smart signing, but it’s likely Chelsea will have their eye on other targets.
