AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli is attracting interest from two clubs as he is set to leave on a free transfer, according to a report.

The captain is no longer an undisputed starter in this Rossoneri side after what has been several years of being one of the few certainties. For the game against Juventus tomorrow, the former Roma man is expected to be benched again in favour of Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer.

There is another added layer to this dilemma in the fact that his contract expires at the end of the season and there is currently nothing to suggest that a renewal is imminent. According to the latest from Nicolo Schira, Romagnoli will leave Milan as a free agent in the next summer window.

He adds that Juventus and Barcelona have asked info on the centre-back with his agent Mino Raiola, so a move to a rival or a new experience in Spain could be on the cards.
