Report: Bayern Munich interested in Ecuador CB Piero Hincapié | OneFootball

One of the talented teenagers who has been mightily impressive during this summer’s Copa América is 19-year-old centre-back Piero Hincapié.

Hincapié had never earned a cap prior to the tournament but has started all three games for Ecuador during the tournament, earning rave reviews for his performances.

Thanks to also being versatile, many clubs around Europe are now interested in his services and Mundo Deportivo claim Bayern Munich could make a move for the left-footed player.

Atlético Madrid, Real Betis, AC Milan, Newcastle, Celtic, PSG, Lens, and Roma have also been linked to the Talleres player, who is said to be available for roughly €10m this summer.

However, it’s said that Bayern may be turned off by not only the asking price, but the fact that they already have Lucas Hernández, Alphonso Davies, and Omar Richards as left-footed defenders in their ranks.
