The Canary Islander is of a similar profile to Pedri but has more of a defensive element and physicality to his game. That said, his profile is highly valued within the club.

Barcelona and Las Palmas have been involved in negotiations very recently for a young midfield talent too. Two years ago, Barcelona agreed on a deal with the second division side for their young gem Pedri who has gone on to be a bonafide star for club and country.

Now, with eyes on Moleiro coming from the same club at the same age, the expectations from the youngster will be very high.

Las Palmas coach Pepe Mel has repeatedly shown his trust and confidence in the youngster and is backing him to get more game time and improve rapidly.

Barcelona are already said to have sent an emissary to watch the youngster play live. The club want to tie him down early just as they did two years ago with Pedri.

At just 17 years of age, Moleiro has already started four games for Las Palmas this season. Moreover, he scored his first goal for the club against Ibiza two days ago.
