Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has reportedly already spoken with Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu regarding a prospective move.

This according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com. They report that the Nerazzurri coach has played a role in convincing Lookman on the move.

Inter Milan are pushing to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. The Nigerian international is their top target in attack this summer.

The Nerazzurri have already made an offer to Atalanta for Lookman.

La Dea have rejected the initial bid, which Inter have not yet increased. However, the player himself reportedly wants to join.

Widespread reports indicate that Inter’s first offer to Atalanta was for €40 million.

Atalanta, on the other hand, are reportedly holding out for around €50 million.

And a key factor in the whole transfer saga is the desire of Lookman himself.

There is little doubt that the former RB Leipzig and Leicester City forward wants to join Inter.

And according to Calciomercato.com, Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu has already spoken with Lookman one-on-one.

The Inter coach has laid out the project, and the role that he sees for Lookman in his team.
