We are fast approaching January now and the opening of the winter transfer window, a chance for clubs to add to their squads or move on any unhappy players.

Chelsea have a very large squad, so naturally it is a very tough task for Thomas Tuchel and his coaches to keep the entire squad happy all season, and there will be some players in the group who will be wishing to be played more and have more minutes.

However, as Tuchel always reminds us, he can only select 11 players in his starting line up every week and his players must earn their chances.

One player who perhaps isn’t really taking his opportunities despite not really getting loads, is Hakim Ziyech, and of course this will spark rumours of his Chelsea departure down the line.

AC Milan are eyeing a loan move for him in January, according to local Milan source, Pianeta Milan.

Whether Chelsea would entertain that or not is another thing.
